Modelling
I’ve been enjoying making miniature (28mm) scale models. Party with an eye towards playing more tabletop skirmish games with my kids, but also as a substitute for doing woodworking (it requires a lot less space, fewer tools etc. but scratches a similar “working with my hands” itch).
I prefer using cardboard as much as possible, cereal boxes, cardstock, corrugated paper etc.
I’m particularly fond of Old West / Spaghetti Western inspired buildings - not necessarily historically accurate, more the aesthetics of a pulpy gunslinger film.
